BushTrade connects renters with equipment owners. Here's the payment flow:

1. **Browse & Inquire** — Find a listing and send an inquiry 2. **Agree on Terms** — Discuss rental period, price, and payment method with the owner 3. **Make Payment** — Pay the owner directly using the agreed method 4. **Confirm Rental** — Both parties confirm the transaction on the platform 5. **Complete Rental** — Return equipment and confirm completion

**Key points:** • Payments are made directly between parties • Always get confirmation before transferring money • Keep records of all payments • Report any payment disputes through the platform

BushTrade keeps fees simple and transparent:

**For renters:** • Browsing and searching is free • Sending inquiries is free • No booking fees

**For listing owners:** • Creating listings is free • A small service fee applies to completed transactions • Fee details are shown before confirmation

**No hidden costs:** • All fees are displayed upfront • No subscription or monthly charges • No cancellation fees for unfulfilled rentals

Deposits protect equipment owners from damage or loss:

**How deposits work:** • Owners set deposit amounts on their listings • Deposit is paid before taking equipment • Returned after equipment is returned in good condition

**Deposit guidelines:** • Typical deposits are 10-30% of equipment value • Agree on deposit terms before paying • Inspect equipment together before handover • Document equipment condition with photos

**Refund situations:** • Full refund: equipment returned in agreed condition • Partial refund: minor wear beyond normal use • No refund: significant damage or late return

**Disputes:** • Report disputes through the platform • Our mediation team will review the case • Both parties should provide evidence (photos, messages)

Keep track of your transactions:

**Transaction history:** • All rental activity is recorded on the platform • View your rental history on your dashboard • Each transaction includes date, amount, and parties involved

**For business purposes:** • Download transaction summaries for your records • Use for tax and accounting purposes • Keep mobile money receipts as additional proof
